Bacon Cabbage

This is a staple in our house – in fact we have it so often that you think we would have gotten sick of it by now (we haven’t!). It is simple to make, and tastes great. The bacon, onion, and butter all add to the flavour and make this something that we bet you will want time and time again.

Occasionally we add diced chicken and some chili to the recipe to make a quick and easy one-pan meal.

And if you didn’t want to use bacon, i would use 97% fat free baked ham cut up in small pieces. this would down size on the fat by 26 g….and a lot on the calories as well….just an idea…..either way you can’t lose with this recipe!!!! thank you
