I decided to try cooking this on a whim one night.
Unfortunately I had forgotten about the problems I’d had with using frozen fish fillets when I made Pork Rind Battered Fish. This time the result was even worse – the fish turned out to be a soggy mess and it was basically inedible. I’m hopeful that it could turn out OK with fresh fish fillets rather than frozen ones, but I haven’t tested that theory yet!
Ingredients:
- 300 g (10.6 oz) of fish fillets (I used orange roughy)
- 1 Tbsp of olive oil
- 1 Tbsp of cajun seasoning
Recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 230 C (450 F).
- Line a large baking sheet with foil and rub with the oil to coat.
- Coat each piece of fish with the cajun seasoning.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through. It’s not necessary to flip the fish over during baking.

Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just
sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to
everything. Do you have any helpful hints for first-time blog
writers? I’d really appreciate it.
