We found this recipe at Sin or Slim and think it is the best flavoured protein shake we have tried so far.
As well as helping the shake taste great, we’ve read that cinnamon supposedly provides some serious health benefits (making this shake a win-win). The shake is also very easy to throw together when you’re in a rush. We used Aussie Bodies brand for our protein powder, but you can use whichever brand you prefer.
Ingredients:
- 2 scoops (20 g or 0.7 oz) of vanilla whey protein powder
- 1 cup (250 ml or 8 fluid oz) of unsweetened almond milk
- 1 Tbsp of cinnamon
- 1 tsp of vanilla essence
- 2 drops of liquid sweetener (I used EZ-Sweetz)
- A couple of ice cubes (optional)
Recipe:
- Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (approximately 1 minute).
- Pour into a glass and serve.
